Marriage Reunited Harlequin comics eBook Jessica Hart Haruhi Sakura Reviews
A lovely, easy to read story of Mac doing his darnest to save his marriage and woo back Georgia. He makes lots of blunders but doesn't give up in his quest to truly get to know Georgia. I loved the impact of the photos he sends her. The way Georgia goes to get her man at the end is pretty good too - especially with the last reference to her need for clean and orderliness. lol.
No dramas, alpha bullying, sneering name calling, just a lovely romance. Recommended.
Marriage Reunited by Jessica Hart
Harlequin Romance # 3889 - April 2006
The first few years of their marriage was glorious. But slowly Mac's job as a photo journalist and the constant assignments to danger zones, put a huge strain on their marriage. Georgia was building her career too and had dreams of becoming an editor for the Times. With Mac's pressures to have a family and Georgia's growing fear of being the only responsible one in the marriage, they find themselves separating. Now four years have passed. Georgia is back in her home town as editor of the weekly paper and she's the guardian to her orphaned seven year old nephew. She's met someone who is stable and can offer he and Toby security, so she sends Mac the divorce papers. She shocked though when he turns up in person to announce that he doesn't want a divorce he wants to try again.
This was a good story. I found at times that Georgia was too unforgiving even though some of Mac's attempts to win her were rather selfish. They soon learn that they are both looking for the same things. I enjoyed this one.
This was not one of Jessica Hart's best. It wasn't convincing. The husband in the story just didn't seem really invested in actually seeing his wife's needs--especially as she was trying to raise her nephew.
